Perched right by the water, you’ll find our proper Devon pub where good food, good drink and good company come naturally. From the bar to the kitchen, we champion local produce, seasonal flavours and the kind of British classics that never go out of style. Our chefs take real care with every dish, turning the best ingredients into plates worth lingering over.
Pop in for a hearty lunch, gather the family for a cracking Sunday roast, or share a few lighter bites with friends. And of course, no visit’s complete without a drink in hand, our bar’s well stocked with carefully chosen wines, spirits and craft beers, all ready to raise a glass to time well spent at the pub.

Sundays at The Ship Inn
For us, Sunday is a big, hearty hug. Our roasts are sacred – think succulent cuts of slow-roasted West Country beef, larger-than-life Yorkshires, and boatloads of proper chef’s gravy.
Sides? You’ll be spoilt for choice: honey-roasted vegetables, pigs in blankets, and, for a little indulgence, oh-go-on-then truffled cauliflower cheese. Start your week the wonderful way.
